Hello. This is Dr Francisco Leon Garate from Argentina and I would like to share my experience of my relocation to Saudi Arabia. All started in December 2019 with an interview in Buenos Aires (Argentina). Then the world stuck in March 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic. I got frustrated and I thought that my relocation was lost. But thanks to Paris Charalampidis and his team EuroSynapses I got another interview late in 2021 and my contract finally came with fears and tears, because I had to move to another country and its’ culture. This is what took my whole attention because I love to travel and work but being a doctor sometimes is difficult. So finally on the 22nd February 2022 I said goodbye to my kids and wife (they understood me and also my feelings and expectation). I took a position to another country, which is magnificent within the culture and costumes that I was not get used to see and live. Right now, I can affirm that I am not regretful of my decision to move to another country. I am really thankful of Paris and his team EuroSynapses for all the support that I was given. I have known Eurosynapses, its head Mr. Paris Charalampidis and his brilliant executives, for many years, when I decided to go to Saudi Arabia and start from scratch! I left behind the labour of a lifetime at the Transplantation Center of Thessaloniki (which I could not bear to see being degraded due to the economic crisis). I was impressed by their enthusiasm, their hard work and their professionalism not only in helping as many Greek doctors as possible in finding jobs in the most well-paid country in the world, Saudi Arabia, but also in elevating the image of Greek physicians. The task was not easy at all. Yet they have succeeded and found a job for hundreds of colleagues, who, under their guidance, are now the best Ambassadors of Greece to this philhellenic country. The requirements were many, since this is a health system organized in American standards, with certified units from the largest US certification structures that require high-level doctors. I’ve been involved with Eurosynapses since 2013 after I was interviewed for a position in Saudi Arabia. I was working in UK back then. Since 2014 I have been in Saudi Arabia. The difficulties I encountered were various and on different levels. Over time and with the help of Eurosynapses, many of these difficulties were solved. It is a different country with both negative and positive elements. When I started, I thought of it as a different experience and so it is. I can say now that the upsides are much more. I'm happy and I would do it again if I could turn back time.

Εργάζομαι στην Σαουδική Αραβία από τον Σεπτέμβριο 2014. Μέχρι σήμερα, σχεδόν 5 χρόνια μετά, η βάση μου είναι ένα από τα νοσοκομεία του Ομίλου Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib στο Ριάντ. Η εταιρεία Eurosynapses είχε οργανώσει τις συνεντεύξεις του Απριλίου 2014 στις οποίες είχα πάρει μέρος. Θυμάμαι ότι η διαδικασία ήταν εξαιρετικά καλά οργανωμένη και είχε διευθετηθεί, συνολικά, πολύ γρήγορα παρ’όλο που είχα έρθει σε επικοινωνία με την εταιρεία κυριολεκτικά την τελευταία στιγμή, την παραμονή της συνέντευξης. Δεκαπέντε, μόλις, λεπτά μετά την συνέντευξη μού δόθηκε το προκαταρκτικό συμβόλαιο με το νοσοκομείο, 3 μέρες αργότερα το επίσημο και μετά λίγους μήνες ξεκίνησα την εργασία μου. Στο ενδιάμεσο είχα μιαν εξαιρετική συνεργασία με τον κ. Αδάμ tin k.Miliakou και τους υπόλοιπους συνεργάτες τής Eurosynapses για την ολοκλήρωση της διαδικασίας για την έκδοση της visa. Έκτοτε, έχω τακτική ενημέρωση από την Γραμματεία της Εταιρείας για νέες θέσεις εργασίας και συνεντεύξεις στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Ο δε κ. Χαραλαμπίδης που προΐσταται της Εταιρείας επισκέπτεται συχνά την Σαουδική Αραβία δίνοντας την ευκαιρία για συναντήσεις από κοντά με όλους τους συναδέλφους για συζήτηση και επίλυση τυχόν προβλημάτων.
