Job Description
Supervising all activities and problems related to Pulmonology Department in the hospital.
He is the link between his department and the head of the internal medicine departments and the administration. Also, assure the achievement of the administration policy in the department.
Provide the needed medical care for the patients with respiratory diseases.
Must have good experience in performing procedures which helps in management of respiratory diseases (such as bronchospcopy, insertion of chest tube, pleural biopsy, etc.).
Expected to cover internal medicine both for inpatient and outpatient. Also, receiving admission from Emergency Room (ER).
Responding to consultations regarding respiratory diseases from other departments of our hospital and/or other health facilities.
Expected to participate and attend the hospital doctor’s meeting held for nightly for clinical cases presentation by the different departments.
Attend continuing education, infection control and performance improvement programs to keep updated with the current practice.
Should have the experience and the ability to organize and upgrading the respiratory unit.
- Member of Royal College of Physician in UK/Europe or equivalent qualification from Western Country.
- Minimum five (5) years experience as consultant pulmonologist in a large hospital.
- Current license to practice medicine.
- High Salary 25%-45% from the revenue
